Palm Vx won't sync with Outlook XP email

Subject says it all... I installed the Palm software and want to sync it with Outlook XP (email, contacts, etc). Everything works except email, and I'm totally stumped. Anyone have any advice? I'm running WinXP and Office XP.

If you're using IMAP that's probably the issue. I could never get my Visor Edge to sync with an IMAP e-mail account, while POP worked fine.

Having similar problem, think I figured it out. The synch only looks at the inbox for "Outlook Today"

If I move a mail message from the internet personal mail, like from Hotmail, to the "Outlook Today" inbox, then my pocket pc synchs and pulls that message.

Anyone know how to make the "Outlook Today" inbox pull its messages from an http inbox by default.

Making the http inbox the default inbox alone doesn't do the trick, it still creates the http mail account in a separate folder and doesn't display the email in the outlook today folder.

Using Outlook 2002

When an http email account is created in outlook 2002, it is always placed outside the "outlook today" folder.

Here is what I would like to do

I would like to plug in my pocket pc, synch with the desktop, and pull my hotmail emails into my pocket pc

Currently I can synch with the pc just fine but the pocket pc doesn't download any new emails because it refuses to sych with anything other than the "outlook today" portion of Outlook. I have attempted several google searches in an attempt to force outlook 2002 to associate that default (outlook today) inbox with hotmail but no luck.

any answers or can is just not be done?
