Palm VIIx, Anyone have this? Is it worth the getting?

I just saw a box in my mothers closet by chance, it said Palm VIIx. I looked online and it has a built in web modem! Cool! I didnt know there was something like this. Anyone have it? Its monochrome but I would live with that for web access in class!

You're limited to palm.net web access. I'm not sure how their coverage is, and I know they charge by data usage.

It's not like regular webaccess. I forget what it's called but it's not that great.

dude, be SIKED. you can do lots of stuff.

you download these things called webclippers that are really small, and you stick em on the palm. It just tells the palm to go to a specific URL and take only the important stuff that you need, and get rid of ads and pictures and stuff. go to palm's page, there are tons of em. you can get sports scores, check tracking of packages.....theyve even got a IRC client out. you can go on AIM now I think....and get emails. Its cool

45 bucks a month....if i stop sucking at daytrading and i get past my starting point im getting one

777....does the 320 have a modem built in? palm7 is much cooler...i dont care much about how sleek and shiny the packaging in when the palm has that much of an advantage.

only downside is its a good bit bigger and it eats batteries

Yea, its probably one of my Christmas gifts. I was looking at c|net.. a lot of the users complained that 10 emails will drain the battery because it has to use the modem, that doesn't sound to hot..
