Palm V Power

I have an old Palm V tha requires powering every 3hrs.
I have all the gadgets for the home, office and car to charge the sucker.
Did anyone ever come up with a better way to power this thing longer between charges.
Is there perhaps a better battery, charger or hack.
Can you suggest anywhere to look?

I'd def get a 3rd party battery on ebay. Maybe get one that has more mAh than your original one.

Thanks for the info.
It mentioned that it only needs to be charged minutes a day.
I could have sworn my manual stipulated that it HAS TO BE put in a charger every 3hrs.

BTW, my mistake, I don't have the Palm V.
I have the Palm Vx.
I'll have to find my manual.

I have cable/chargers for home, office and my car.
I was going to give it to a friend in another country but don't want to saddle him with something that wont work or that will keep him tied to a powersorce.
