Hi guys, I was given the above PDA last February as a birthday present and just recently came across a problem. When I say I have used it for about 10 hours, it's no lie. I have never dropped it nor abused it in any way. Well, when I turn it on, there is this high pitch frquency type of sound being sent off by the display. If you are in a silent room by yourself, you can hear it pretty well and it's so bad that I can't even use it because it irks me. What should I do and has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to sound like a cheat but I am thinking about buying another one, slipping this one back into the package and returning it. Shameful yes, but it cost my fiance $200.00 new and if it were not for the sound, I would use it more often. There are no visible scratches and the screen is like new as I have used those protective coverings. Any and all help would be appreciated.
 
Nevermind, I found out it is the digitizer and many others have the same problem. Palm has deemed it as "normal", so I guess I will have to deal with it and learn to stay away from Palm devices in the future.
