The Palm IIIxe is back at Mercata. Current price is $238.xx If your registered with Mercata before 11/17 and have Mercata$ available you can take off 20% for a price around $190. Apply the Microsoft Passport 20% discount to get the price down to around $157!!

If you registered with Mercata before 11/17, but missed out on the Palm IIIxe like I did, now is your chance :D

Not for sure but I heard that MSN's 20% off deal @ mercata will end on 11/22 (earlier than anounced before)

You may want to check it before waiting..

If you're still looking for a good deal on the Palm IIIxe you can get it for $149 after rebate from Amazon.

Read either this or that thread for more details.

You're right RossMan if you want to get the Palm IIIxe you should rather go with the Amazon one.
But for the Palm VIIx they are still very expensive. Maybe we should wait for this one for Mercata until the weekend and hopefully the price will come down a bit.

JumpOnDeals - True but I hope you don't have really high expectations for the PalM VIIx. It's slow, service is spotty, expensive and it's not really THAT productive "surfing" the web on that tiny little screen over the slow a$$ connection. I would say get the better Palm Vx PDA and if you must have wireless internet then get the OmniSky add on.

Read Eug's good post in this thread.

I'd say unless you're ok with the limited service region, SLOW 19.2 connection, expensive monthly costs and limited web sites you can visit then go for it. Some people I know swear by their wireless PDA but they mostly trade stocks on it, that's it. Anything else is way to impractical.
