Palm engineers = color-blind?

oops! they accidentally built it as a 12-bit color device (4,096) instead of 16-bit and never noticed the difference!

Didn't HP do that same thing with one of their PDA's a while ago? But at least they noticed pretty quickly that whoever was actually manufacturing them had put the wrong chip in it.

I'd ask why it isn't in FS/FT, but since I currently have 3 spare slot-1 mobos, 2 CPUs and other PC junk gathering dust, I'm even more guilty
