Palm Desktop Question

I just dug my old palm III out from some piles of work in my office, and since I never really used it before, I am thinking about trying to find a use for it now. I was wondering if there was a way to set it up so that when I hotsync it, it will use the address book in outlook, not the one in the palm desktop, and it will only synchronize email from a certain folder in outlook. Is this possible?

Easy, enough just run the installation software that comes with your palm. It will ask you whether to use the Palm desktop or Outlook, MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE Outlook!! Uncheck the box for palm desk top and continue installing the software....

What about only synchronizing mail from a certain folder- is that possible?

To sync with Outlook I think you need something like Chapura Pocketmirror. Otherwise no conduit to get at the outlook folders. I think I have an old copy at work, pm me if you have trouble finding it.
