guys question (especially for dual sonic owners or 4870 owners),
my 4870 dual sonic edition from Palit has 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x HDMI, 1x weird next gen output.
i plan on going for a Dual Display Set-up (extended probably)
will using one LCD on the DVi and the other LCD on the VGA work?
both LCD's are of the same make and model (Samsung 940BW, has 1x DVI and 1x VGA at the back)

"Dual sonic"? As in "two sounds"?

Using two outputs onto identically specced displays should be straightforward to set up.

@Happy Medium
thanks, i was torn between getting a 5770 with dual DVI and wait to get another 940bw
or try the dual display with 1x dvi and 1x vga

@betasub
Dual Sonic Edition, it's a 4870 from Palit that has Dual Bios, Dual Fans with a custom heatsink that boasts cooling of 10 degrees celcius lower than all the other 4870's in the market (except for the water cooled Atomic one by i think it was Sapphire? and probably Asus' Dark Knight too or equal, if im not mistaken)

the 4870 Dual Sonic has:
1x DVI port
1x VGA port
1x HDMI port
1x weird new gen video port
