Palit 4870 1GB vs. Powercolor 4870 1GB

Anyone know of a single review that includes both?

I know it's not THAT important, but I'd like to see them go head-to-head.

The Palit has a clean, shortened non-reference PCB and cooler (that some say is unnecessarily loud, however), and it has that goofy dual BIOS.

The Powercolor has a standard PCB with a good cooler and no gimmicky BIOS, but looks to run about 5 degrees hotter. (I found a review that has the 512 Sonic vs. the 1GB Powercolor.)

Anyone seen a review with both?

I know it's a shot in the dark.

I'd go the Palit. The dual BIOS can be handy and I think it is the one that only requires one 8pin connector which makes things tidy inside the case. Both will give you good temps.

Got the powercolor 1GB reference model, and it's very nice. The cooler is very strong even on the reference models.

Here are current clockspeeds right now - still testing -

fan speeds 13-39% - 44-66C - idle 120/800mhz - load 815/3900mhz

Palit 1GB is really nice, but couldn't find one in the US. The speed difference if any will depend on how well the card you buy OC, every card is different.
