Not really. I'd think he'd get just as much a hard time about being a quitter.

2 other first term govs who quit. Jim McGreevy and Eliot Spitzer

McGreevy quit because he had a extramarital gay affair and gave his lover the position of New Jersey homeland security adviser.

Spitzer quit because he was fucking whores.

but since they are libs they get a pass for their transgressions.

If only the left could hate Islamic terrorists with a tenth of the white-hot hatred they feel for Palin. Ditto for child molesters, rapists, murderers . . .

I am quite surprised that the people of Alaska were not up in arms sooner about the way Palin quit her appointed office in favor of making more money ansd proving just how stoopid she really is!!

Like it's the first time that ever happened. Hell, Walter Hickel quit to be Sec of the Interior and he was so widely despised for it they elected him Gov again... on a third party ticket no less. Any opportunity for a local to take a national position is generally applauded.

And anyone who thinks Sarah was the worst Gov ever has a pretty short memory. Frank Murkowski has a death grip on that title.

I don't think so......but feel free to ignore reality.

Interesting article how everyone refers to Spitzer as "disgraced" in all the media reports about him. (at the time of the article, a google search showed ~390 web pages)

Of course, that great paragon of family virtue and true-blue patriotism, the Senator, David Vitter (R), had a grand total of 4 web pages mentioning him and using the word disgraced. (Link if you don't know about him)

So the D governor was disgraced and resigned, the R Senator is still in office, and you don't hear anything about him.....Hmmm, I wonder why?

Of what about Newt? Mr. "divorce his wife while in ICU recovering from cancer surgery", and who was having an affair while he was slamming Clinton for doing the same thing? I don't see lots of articles calling Newt "disgraced".

So you want to tell us how the "liberal (lol) media is giving all those R's a pass?

Gingrich was actually totally silent about Clinton other than saying that this was a personal matter and none of our business. My wife and I said at the time that Gingrich was also having an affair, as no politician could otherwise resist bashing the head of the opposition when he gets caught nailing an intern. And of course, he was.

As to the "liberalness" of the media, anyone remember the covers of Time and Newsweek after the '94 election? "Gingrich's Congress - how mean will it be?"
