There is only so much you can lie to the American public about before they turn on you. One of the pundits made a great point last night, if you subtly lie here and there it's likely nobody will take notice enough for it to negatively affect you. But when your lies are so outrageous and over the top that even the MSM is criticizing you for it.........it can backfire right in your face. There is a reason Karl Rove publicly chided McCain.

If they are investigating her action, why wouldn't they be able to do so without her? Isn't that how just about every investigation goes?

Yeah, except only the title of the article glamorized the rove-mccain connection(shocker!) while it actually mentioned him talking about both campaigns doing ads that aren't entirely factual.

I don't think you have all the facts lupi droopi. Not only is Palin refusing the subpoena she said before that Moonegan was fired for budgetary reasons only. Looks like a bold faced lie to me in the making. That is why they need to subpeona HER to get some clarification over that statement. You can't investigate a statement/reason without the person who made it.

She has to stick to the budgetary story now... I guess we will see what comes out of this.

Well, he gambled big when he picked her so why stop there? McCain probably feels he's on a roll and can't be stopped.
