I don't care that Palin actually thinks this. I am all for waterboarding (it is extremely effective and cheap; saves on materials and man hours). Whatever it takes for people to feel better about it.

Enhanced interrogation isn’t coming back sorry, maybe move to country that values that kind of interrogation?

It's just a joke, a very bad one.

The Sarah! sure knows her audience.

Caribou Barbie strikes again! Ol' Walnuts McCain should be embarrassed for unleashing the Tundra Twit on this nation.

He deserved to lose the election for that reason alone.

She needs to run with Jesse Ventura. It'd be an endlessly entertaining cavalcade of bat shit crazy.

I find it so weird that the GOP ran with this person as its candidate for Vice President. She is a remarkably silly human being.

She's also attractive (to some), which still carries a lot of weight in society. Few things in politics are surprising anymore.

And when this quote gets mistranslated into Pashto, she will increase the danger and difficulty of our soldiers' mission.

She is a terrible terrible person. We should ignore her more than Jenny McCarthy.

I'd say those drones killing wedding parties, funerals, picnics, or people just strolling down the street does more harm.

If I were Christian, I would be outraged. That's pretty much the most blasphemous thing anyone could say, short of straight damning the Holy Spirit.

I'm a Christian and not outraged...so go figure. But if I weren't a Christian, I'd doubt I'd be outraged either or even remotely concerned about how I believe Christians should respond to such a stupid joke. You're trying much too hard....don't hurt yourself.

These things don't matter to the initiated among us...but Sarah Palin's bad joke? That's outrageous! What a terrible person! Not a Palin fan, but damn...wtf is wrong with these people?

Yes, posting a sentence on a message board was trying REALLY REALLY hard, good call. I'm totally exhausted from the rigorous campaign of giving a shit I was obviously pursuing.

What Palin says doesn't matter at all in the real world. It's vaguely interesting enough to be worth discussing in the same way I chat about TV shows and sports and other things that don't matter, though. On that level of importance, I find it super awkward that people would applaud such a tacky, ugly 'joke.'
