Palin says she's not leaving politics

WASHINGTON ? Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she's not only staying involved in national politics, but she plans to jump back into the national scrum when she leaves office at the end of the month.

The former Republican vice presidential nominee said she plans to write a book, campaign for political candidates from coast to coast ? even Democrats who share her views on limited government, national defense and energy independence ? and build a right-of-center coalition.

"I will go around the country on behalf of candidates who believe in the right things, regardless of their party label or affiliation," she said during an interview published Sunday in The Washington Times.

Read on it gets better....

If I was a politician I surely would want palin campaigning on my behalf.......( as i am playing the twilight Zone theme)...lolol

Whats inbteresting is McCain declined to endorse a Palin for President campaign!

The former Republican vice presidential nominee said she plans to write a book, campaign for political candidates from coast to coast ? even Democrats who share her views on limiting women's rights, warmongering, and continuing to use fossil fuels from her state ? and build a right-of-center coalition.

"I will go around the country on behalf of candidates who believe in the right things, regardless of their party label or affiliation," she said during an interview published Sunday in The Washington Times.

Is there a website or something for candidates to request Palin campaign for thier opponent? I imagine it would be swamped.

She's got no shot on the national level, and just needs to fade into obscurity.

I can see Palin being an effective campaigner or helping to raise funds in certain markets/demographics.

The 'ignorant and outraged white people' demographic comes to mind, for some reason.

Racism is always OK when its directed at white people.. More politics of hate from the left. Yeah, this woman who is by all accounts a fine mother and performed her duties as governor quite well from all accounts is just 'ignorant'. And the people who supported her as well.. Maybe they are tired of the Bush's and Obama's of the world and want someone who understands what real people go through on a daily basis?

She will make a TON of money for the Republicans.. although as others have said I doubt she will be a viable Presidential candidate.. Ultimately the hatred for her on the left is driven by her stance against abortion and showing more 'caring' toward a child with a disability than most of you on the left will ever show in your lifetimes towards others. If she was pro-choice these attacks would not be occuring.

The left will not stop their attacks on her until her life is completely destroyed. Party of inclusiveness my ass. Party of HATE and BIGOTRY.

This isn't your best moment dealmonkey... She will be able to cater to certain people and get their money, yes, hopefully she doesn't run for President, I'd surely hope that conservatives can do better than her......

I am curious how she will spin quitting public service as a politician and being uneducated about the political job she wants into a relentless commitment to serving American citizens, so much so that she can actually lift other candidates, even less skilled than herself or they wouldn't need her, on her wing and get them into office as well. If she can actually do it, she needs to write a book on job interviews.

Stand up straight. Stick that chest out. Moisten those lips. Reglue that swim suit to your ass. Put on that big, phony, smile. Pretend that everyone loves you. Play your cards right and you could end up as Miss Congeniality or better yet, maybe a TV station will open up in Wasilla and you could be the weekend news anchor.

Governor Perry of Texas wants Sarah Palin to campaign for his re-election because he and "first dude" both wants Alaska and Texas to be free from the "Union". As far as I know Perry is not liked by the majority of Texans because of his trying to take the land of citizens to build a foreign-owned toll road called the TransTexas Corridor among other things that he is not popular. The grassroots of Texas was in an uproar to say the least. Most Texans are actively trying to get rid of him. If he is ever in the position to be ousted as governor - she should tell him how quitting is easier.

Sarah Palin fits the profile of what Governor Perry wants in a woman who will help him in his compaign for re-election. She must be devoid of any original ideas, must be able to speak like a parrot and repeat exactly what they tell her to say. She will go to some dinkwater town which has probably never seen a "celebrity" before. This will get people to turn out; after all, how often will this town get a famous person to visit? Perry, in turn, will lose political points for having a quitter like Palin campaign for him. Plus Palin vs Kay Bailey Hutchison? No contest. Hutchison will mop the floor with her. Come primary time.

Why would anybody vote for a gubernatorial candidate endorsed by Palin?. It might make sense if you want the person to explode your state budget, tax your #1 industry and then leave midterm crying about being picked on.

Color me shocked.

Gosh, you're right, she's caused no provocation, no needless attacks ever came from her pristine lips, no innuendos of any sort. She's mother mary of the repubs! She's a saint.
She's a perfect fit for the repubs, and I truly hope she makes every effort to garner a nod for prez candidate in 2012.

Personal Attacks? Where? On who? You?

Personally I wonder who would buy her book? I wonder who will write it for her?

SEN. McCAIN: Oh, I--look, I think it's way too early for that kind of thing, because she obviously has not made that decision yet. And traditionally, those of us who were the nominees have waited at least a period, a long period of time before we got into that. But we've got a lot of good, strong, young, attractive, articulate spokespersons for our party and our principles.

I'm sorry, but I do not believe my comments were racist in any sense of the word. I simply pointed out Palin's likely demographic. But let's parse my words one-by-one, just to make sure:

Ignorant - this could certainly apply to anyone, or any racial group. Nope, no racism there.

Outraged - simply a state of mind. Nope, no racism there either.

White People - I can't imagine how pointing out a group of people is racist. Can you? Are we so politically correct now, that no racial group can be identified or discussed in any way whatsoever.

Come on people, unwad your panties!
