Good for her. That's what a PAC is supposed to be used for. To pay for promoting a candidate. And WOW at 2 million just in a pac. That's pretty huge. Obvious she has a ton of support.

Actually no, it's NOT what a PAC is for, that's what a campaign committee is for. A PAC is meant to support/elect candidates based on the ideals of the PAC. Not to promote oneself. It's a very delicate legal line with about 3 bazillion loopholes in it that by all rights should be closed, but of course none of the elected officials want to close.

PAC money has strings on it. Spending 63K for her books is questionable at best, and possibly illegal, although I don't know that for a fact.

If you don't know it for a fact, you probably shouldn't be saying its questionable or illegal should you?

We still have to wonder if Sarah is a team GOP player, having the money and building up a pile of her fellow GOP politicians who owe her is good way to go for the 2012 GOP POTUS nomination. But if its apparent that Palin is out for only Sarah, why should the rest of the GOP rally around her?

We can also take a similar message from Nixon 1968-1974, because Nixon was only out for himself and did very little for the GOP. And when Nixon got himself in a hell of a scandal, and finally became a huge net liability to the GOP, it was the GOP who led the way in greasing the skids for Nixon's removal. The GOP had far more than the 34 votes needed to sink Nixon's removal in the Senate.

And because Sarah Palin is not very smart and has a gift for putting both feet in her mouth, she needs to build up as many IOU's as possible.

She seems to be several million smarter than most of ATPN.

I'm hardly on the left, and I think she's the worst thing since, well the worst thing.

If she spent money from this in a way that she wasn't supposed to, then she needs to be taken out and beaten. If not, then she still shouldn't be bankrolling her books, and yes I'd say that if she were a Dem.

SOCIALIST!!!

Welcome to PAC expenses -They all do this. Much like Business expenses almost all can be justified as cost of doing business, in this case politicking.

PS - you have seen nothing yet though once Citizens United makes it full impact there won't be a president elected without 2 billion + PAC.

just be careful, because, like a cloud down here in florida, sometimes it just brings shade; sometimes it just brings rain; sometimes it fries your ass with a lightening bolt...

underestimate fluffy and insubstantial things at your own peril...

No, you don't get it. SP is a danger only for one reason. The morons on the left make her an issue and the morons on the right love to use her to stick them in the eye.

Every moron who brings her up adds to her power. But it can't be helped because morons are morons.

Does this make her a PAC mule?

LOL! Yes. Yes it does make her a PAC mule.

This is what politicians do with their PAC money when their political careers are over. I assume she knows this and does not intend to run again, because this will give her an anal exam if she once again runs for office.

And yeah, I still think she's smokin' hot.

who cares if she wastes all her money failing to win the republican nomination? I didn't/wouldn't donate a cent to her and I assume that those that did are too stupid to care what she uses it on.

What he said.

I can't believe there are enough fools on the planet to actually write a check and donate it to her. I say good for her. Since the only the real idiots are the dumb republicans that gave her money. I wonder how many people from here gave her money? Maybe PJ did?

Keep mocking, keep it up. Just makes us stronger. She endorsed Rand Paul for senate here in KY and he's outfundraising the competition. Taking back the country we are.

I dunno. All that shit is expensive, so those Expenditures could all be legit. The real issue here might be the small amount of $ she has raised.
