One wonders why the GOP party are known as either racist or condoning racism.

Yet another clip

I hope the secret service protection is tripled around Obama

Hmm...it appears you were wrong?

Now that you mention it, I was thinking of drawing a backwards B on my cheek and wearing a bunch of eye shadow (simulated black eye) as my Halloween costume. I'm not going to a party or tick-or-treating. I'll be staying home and handing out candy. I think it could be slightly inflammatory though...

Yea or Nea?

I'm sorry, but this is nowhere close to as funny as chubby girls delicately scratching a B the wrong way into their cheek, faking an assault to include your twitter page, adding in a side of sexual assault when her story started to unravel, before finally melting down in a sad, buttery perp walk. THAT was priceless.

This is sort of dumb and I'm sure some people overreacted in some dumb ways, but I just don't see how you can say it matches up.

Malkin has no credibilty.

I'm sorry but she deserves her title as a right-wingnut queen.

She is spinning this.

My friend's girlfriend almost did that, and he was going to go as "Borro". hahaha

And there is no need to make stuff up here, there are plenty of folks at McCain/Palin rallies clearly saying totally ridiculous stuff about Obama. Maybe that exact word wasn't used, but McCain's supporters leave a lot to be desired in terms of class and brains.

Added for accuracy.

All I know is that the pauses in the speeches at Obama rallies seem to be mostly for cheering, while the pauses at McCain rallies seem to be for disturbingly angry yelling. Even if they aren't racist, there is something pretty fucked up about that.

I'm not buying it. You can't hear exactly what is being said but you CAN hear that it sounds like it has four syllables, not five.

Why is ***** the only word that white people have to insert stars or something to type? Or call it the "n-word"? Why can't it be taken in context?

edit: and why is ***** starred out automatically by AT filter? Let's test another word: BOBDN. edit 2: Oh that's not banned anymore lol.

Haha, I wouldn't star anything out if I had my way, the first time I wrote that word on the forums it came up stars, so I started using N***** or whatever so people knew what word I meant.

I'm sure there's a reason that this couldn't have been posted with the equally worthless thread located here: http://forums.anandtech.com/me...id=52&threadid=2241725

Yes, because the claim was so outlandish that to refute it, a new thread is needed. Much like the 2349572945 Palin threads we get here daily.

Congratulations, now there's 2349572946. That thread was stupid and so is this one. I can't hear either word (***** or redistributor) in any of the videos anyway.

One thing that I did hear clearly was Palin's stump speech.

My God.

Anyone that thinks she has a chance in 2012 is in never-never land.

Read it and weep. And please, spare me the comments about this being on a conservative blog. Would you really expect a liberal blog to prove this claim wrong?

Turns out, the lady was screaming "REDISTRIBUTOR". The blog even went so far as to slow down the audio so you can clearly hear what the Palin supporter as screaming out.

http://michellemalkin.com/2008...ed-at-palin-rally-not/

Everything is peachy then!

Good. But many here claimed they could here the supporter screaming "ni**er", and thus a new thread was needed to disprove it.

This thread is not to get anyone to vote McCain. It's to prove the allegation that some here jumped in on to support, wrong.

Why are blogs getting so much attention? Now we have to argue about blogs that argue that other blogs are wrong? What about the countless other blogs, forums, etc. that say the n-word and worse?

Do we need to start threads about all the anti-Obama blogs that were calling out Obama for his imagined role in the "B" girl?

Media, in all forms, in this country has just become insane. I'm all for free speech, but now that every idiot has a 'puter and access to the intarweb we're all forced to contend with their mental regurgitations.

In summary: I didn't think the person said the n-word when I first heard the video, didn't think it meant anything if they did and don't see how Malkin's opinion matters in anything.

You are absolutely right. The only time blogs are really useful is when they prove lies wrong. AKA - Rathergate. It applies to this instance as well.
