What does gender have to do with whether or not you should help someone? Both versions of the quote are moronic and divisive.
Support = help.
Albright is an idiot. What difference does gender make? Isn't that what feminism is all about?
"Support" in the political context means who you endorse. It does not mean "help." Albright clarified that she was in no way talking about politics when she said the quote.
You guys really don't understand that distinction?
Albright - "This campaign is not about gender"
The left is nothing but about gender and the fact someone like Palin who is so like tens of million of women in this country is stroking a cord is just galling to the left wing. Thankfully, the Republican party is on the right side of supporting women anywhere, politics or not.
You just made the best point in the world here. We don't want the people who are average, ordinary, everyday, ignorant people leading us. The people that are in the highest offices in this country need to be exceptional people who are not just like tens of millions of others.
