This really is funny:

After years of wrongly claiming ‘iTs a ConStItUtionaL Republic, nOt A DemOCraCY’ conservatives are very upset. They have determined that our system requires that the party that gets the most votes should win the office.

While I applaud their newfound commitment to democracy unfortunately someone should tell them that Palin would have lost under the ‘regular’ system too.

Didn't it already go to SCOTUS from Maine??? Or was it a lower appeals court?

edit: It was Fed district court, and they (Trumpy judge) outright destroyed the arguments presented against RCV.

This comes from the same party that said California’s primary system was unfair because it didn’t have the republican who placed third put on the general election ballot over the democrat who placed second.

I guess this does stick to a consistent principle of ‘anything where republicans don’t win is unfair’.

Anytime Republicans don't win it is either rigged, stolen, or just unfair reasons that conflict with their explanations why they deserve massive power despite gathering way fewer votes on a consistent basis.

I would be very interested to poll Republicans about what the last year Republicans legitimately lost a national election was.

I would not describe it as a harbinger, but maybe people in Alaska got sick and tired of Palin's never ending ignorance.

Still, it's a good pickup for the party I belong to: The Democrats.
She was a Trump pick, this is excellent news.

It's funny (not in a ha-ha way) how the (R)s love RCV, until it doesn't give them the results they want...then it's the debil.

Is RCC ranked choice? Pretty sure Republicans never loved ranked choice. If we had ranked choice nationally I don't think the Republicans would win a single seat again.
Typo. RCV=Ranked Choice Voting.
I've seen them push it a few times, mostly for city, county, or even state elections.

Now that it's not working on their favor...they're trying to ban it for larger (statewide or national) elections.

Here in WA, we have a "top 2" primary. Two candidates who get the most votes qualify for the election, regardless of party affiliation. (some qualifiers)

thanks.
Ouch, he got gusted down hard. The tree they hit with the horizontal stabilizer they hit only 4' above the ground. Little planes are far more forgiving of wind shear but that was too much.
Yep was not a pleasant article to read for me either. A few days before I was reading about xp aircraft with modified engines nearing early jetfighter speedds aka mike patey's turbulance which if you've seen videos of before is bad fucking ass, and then you read about a weird freak accident and your internal mood drops to nothing.
