Pale Moon hacks/add-ons/etc?

alkemyst

First, how to get Pale Moon to use real GOOGLE without the toolbar app and how to go directly to being able to type a URL in instead of a search.

Thanks.

I use this:

always ".com" - Google.com (in English)

and my pale moon add-ons are:

Adblock Edge

Disconnect (tracking blocking)

IETab

TinyURL Generator

Photobucket Uploader

Thumbnail Zoom Plus

URL Link

Google/Yandex search link fix

Print pages to Pdf

LastPass

Xmarks

To always get the latest page when viewing a site:

1) Download and install the Pale Moon Commander

2) Restart your browser when prompted to do so

3) Go to Pale Moon > Add-Ons > Pale Moon Commander (click on Options)

4) Go to the Performance Tab > Cache

5) Next to "Compared cached pages to pages on the network" (down at the bottom) set it to ALWAYS or for faster page loading, set it to ONCE PER SESSION

what are you smoking bro? there is no advanced options, my above instructions are 100% accurate

This is not OT "bro" no need for attacks.

How to access the add-on's settings

The add-on, when installed, adds a menu item "Advanced Options..." in two locations:

In the Application Menu (Pale Moon/Firefox button) under Options -> Advanced Options...
In the classic menu under Tools -> Advanced Options..

Following your instructions just takes me to the Add-on's page for downloads, "bro".

What you probably meant to say (and it's the really backwards way to do this is)

Go to: Pale Moon->Add-ons->Extensions->Palm Moon Commander and then click the Options button and navigate to the Performance tab.

Actually they aren't. I followed your directions and came to the same conclusion after wondering why I couldn't find the sections you said to go to. After going to Pale Moon->Options->Advanced Options it worked.

dunno strange, i hit Pale Moon > Addons > Pale Moon Commander and then there is no advanced options, I go to the performance tab, then cache, and there it is

but anyway, whatever works for you 🙂
