Just wondering if this will just be a more efficient Tbird or if it'll have new 3dnow, different changes, etc...

the Palaminos have been delayed until the summer. They were supposed to be out already. It is confirmed that the Palaminos will be cooler and use less voltage than a TB. However, since the Palamino has been delayed so long, it has led some to believe that there may be a more drastic change to the chip. The mobile Palamino is coming out within a few weeks I think. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Yeah, I mean, apparently just by using some better silicon they were able to take a tbird to 1.7 ghz with just a heatsink attached, so I really can't wait for them to switch to 0.13 microns...couple that with the new silicon (though i don't think they'd use it for mainstream anufacturing, err, maybe they will, this is only heresay) and that's some stratospheric speeds... Though i'd be really interested in a 0.13 micron duron...
