PAL6035 airflow question

I was lucky enough to snag one with the Delta fan and noticed that when assembled it blows air away from the heatsink. Don't most blow on the HS? Also I've got a CardCooler XT blowing on the whole mobo, would these two fans blowing at one another cause airflow problems?

I have the alpha heatsink with the fan blowing away from the heatsink and it works just fine. What you can do is monitor the temp with the fan blowing one way then switch the fan around and monitor it that way for optimal cooling configuration. Basicly, if alpha says thats the way to set it up then thats the way it probably works best. About the case fan im not sure. You may want to run it with the above senario and see how much it helps to cool either way. Hope this helps!

The Alpha coolers with shrouds work best when having fans suck air away.

However - airflow will be impeded if the air hits itself 😉, so try and flip the fans on your CardCooler around.
