PAL to NTSC

Best advice: buy a new, super cheap DVD player which will play PAL DVDs on your NTSC television.
 
Uh, just about all TV's are single-system (at least in the US). That's why multi-system VCR's and DVD players still exist (and tend to be a bit pricey).

I could have sworn my Aunt and Uncle in Switerland had a multi-system TV....not sure if that's common over there though.
