Pakistan Versus India

Say they finally declare war on each other. Which one would win. Do you think that the muslim countries would send troops to aid pakistan? Do you think the US would get involved. Say it was both sides fault for the start of the war, so that no one can claim aggression. How would such a war go?
 
The only possible outcome that doesn't involve virtual obliteration of both is if no nukes are involved, no other muslim countries are involved, and india wins.

In all other situations it would escalate. Pakistani leaders have basically said they wouldn't hesitate to use nukes. If they use nukes, the whole world is going to get involved. Even if they don't, if other muslim nations get involved, it would most likely mean major war between nations.
 
Hopefully India. Also I would hope they realize the possibilty of other nations getting involved and turn a few of them into glass.
 
They each have a fairly limited supply of nukes... IIRC they each have enough to destroy the other's major cities and any nuke factories if they know the location of them (probably not hard to spot a high tech operation in either country I'd imagine). So once those are gone, it's down to standard warfare.

India would survive a nuclear war with Pakistan since they only have a few and not very powerful bombs, also their robots can´t reach all of India. Please notify me if I´m wrong.

thats true... Indias bombs can reach pakistans's major cities but pakistan's bombs can only reach delhi as far as i know... still cant reach Bangalore / hyderabad ( thus not affecting outsourcing in a major way 😉 ) ... they might be able to reach mumbai ...

If nukes arent involved then india would win... India and pakistan have fought wars before and as far as i know, Not many "muslim " countries assisted pakistan in a major way...
