If they knew where OBL was we would have. The Americans bit our back by violating us when our guard was down. I say we should tell the USA to fuck off and find their own supply route in to Afghanistan and flush their so called aid down the drain.

I'm inclined to agree. You should tell us to fuck off, we should abandon Afghanistan as is and cease all military & monetary foreign aid to Pakistan. We've dumped enough small arms, explosives, mortars & artillery into Afghanistan at this point that the Taliban, once back in control of the country, should be able to substantially destabilize Pakistan.

And for the time being, why didn't\don't they Tomahawk that wreckage?

I wouldnt blame the green bean on this. He is probably subjected to a bit of propaganda. I think it would be best to be able to communicate with him.

I agree we should communicate with TGB, after all, he's likely far more educated than the normal Pakistani, so in reality, we're actually conversing with the more educated Pakistani - scary in regards to brainwashing in its own right.

As for "a bit of propaganda", that is understatement of the decade. He's a Pakistani, his whole life he's grown up being brainwashed by people who themselves have grown up under the same brainwashed system.

It's like talking to a 3rd generation religous Christian fundi and trying to make headway that the Earth really is more than 6,000 years old: No matter the logic you use, you're wrong, because.....well, because.

Again, both sad an amusing at the same time....

I agree, I just want him to know even if he views America as his enemy, Americans aren't his enemies. There are small and prolific parts of America that make a large impact, but most Americans don't sign on to any one of them. I've met a few Pakistanis in my day, and they were awesome, and more American than a lot of America.

America isn't the enemy of the free world, we're trying to make sure people still have a voice. I'm still proud that America broadcasts as much of its criticism as it does, many other countries would be mortified to have such messages broadcasted.

We shouldn't end all aid to Pakistan. As of this time they provide us vital supply routes for our troops, and ensuring their nuclear weapons are secure is a paramount US national security interest.

Arguing that we should cut our ties with them when they have so much influence on our policy over there right now is silliness.

LOL! No, you wouldn't have -- your government would still engage in its usual, two-faced shenanigans. Why do you think we couldn't tell your government where he was?

The Americans bit our back by violating us when our guard was down.

Your government wouldn't have done a damn thing even if they knew something was going on. They're cowards who won't stand up to anyone.

I say we should tell the USA to fuck off and find their own supply route in to Afghanistan and flush their so called aid down the drain.

Works for me -- and when the next earthquake happens or if the Taliban starts overrunning your borders, have fun with that and please don't have the nerve to ask us for help.

OK so you believe that they are keeping their nuclear weapons secure ? A corrupt worthless lying back stabbing state. I bet they are keeping them secure like they were helping find OBL for 3 billion a year.
Where do you think North Korea got it's nuclear program?

I dont think its productive to just marginalize thegreenbean. He is here communicating with us and we should at least spend some time understanding his position. Doesn't mean we have to agree with him but we may be able to find some common ground.

What?

You are talking about two totally different things. The transfer of nuclear technology to other states is a completely different issue than the security of their nuclear weapons. It's also a problem, but it's nowhere near as immediate or pressing a problem as a terrorist group having an assembled weapon. Nuclear weapons are really really hard to build. The primary terrorist nuclear threat to the US is not Al-Qaeda building a nuke themselves, it's them getting one from a low security area or a failed state. Ie: Pakistan, Pakistan, Pakistan.

You're damned right that I think Pakistan is keeping their nuclear weapons as secure as possible for the money they have. It would be stupid, insane, and suicidal for them to behave in any other way. Pakistan has no more to gain from losing control of a nuke than any country does. If it's used on anyone we will figure out where it came from, and Pakistan will pay a horrible price quite similar to if they had launched it themselves. You honestly think they just have nukes lying around that terrorists are free to pick up? What on earth are you basing this opinion on? Do you have any knowledge of the Pakistani nuclear program whatsoever?

If anything, Pakistan is making sure they aren't the ones implicated for throwing gasoline on the mid-east arms race. Any more than that, we cannot be sure from Pakistan.

Pakistan would be a target of Israel or India long before the US, they know this and act accordingly. They keep their nukes real safe, because the safety of their nukes is directly tied to their sovereignty.

We should stop all aid to Pakistan. I think they should pay us a billion a year for the benefit of us not leveling their country for harboring the world's most wanted terrorist.

If you stop aid, who takes over?

Our aid helps keep Pakistan moderate.

Yes. I'm going to vote for someone who I believe will stand up against American tyranny in the next elections.

Isn't Pakistani elections a bit of a misnomer? "Voting" to express the will of the people really hasn't been high on the list of things considered when someone becomes President, Prime Minister, Chief Martial Law Administrator or whatever it's called this week.

Righties blew this topic. They could have made the subject 'Obama hands US military secrets to Chinese like Clinton did! Treason! Impeach Obama!'

The Pakistani government does nothing for us. The people in charge either aren't really moderate or they aren't really in charge. We aren't getting much for our billions. Explain to me how we would be any worse off if we stopped the aid.

The US has significant supply routes through Pakistan, and we help secure their nuclear weapons up to our standards. Please explain how we can achieve these two goals for less money by eliminating aid to Pakistan.

If we stopped the aid, all or agents would be kicked out, it would turn into an Iran. If we could open up Iran for a few billion a year, I'd do that too, it helps everyone. It gives people the right to protest without bullet rain, it gives them opportunities to success. I'm sure the rate of return is at least 15 percent, I'd take that every day all day.

Regardless if we stop the Pakistani aid or not, why should not Pakistan tell the US and Nato to get their shit and get now that they got the man they came for? If Nato and the USA want to supply Afghanistan from an only air based supply line, well that is the alternative facing them. Lots of luck of going in hat in hand to the alternative landroute supplier in Iran.

As for TGB and every rational Pakistani, Its hard to argue from their viewpoint, that Nato policy has been remotely resembling competent or beneficial to the nation of Pakistan.
