Don't suppose there's anything I can do about it?

Had this nice old LCD sitting in the closet for a long time because of some bad capacitors, finally got it running but I see there are now 2 lines in the upper middle of the screen that run a different color than the rest. I've already taken this thing apart, wouldn't mind doing it again if I might be able to fix the issue. The pixels appear to work, they can change from white to black and a variety of colors, just not the same as the rest of the screen. Tried massaging them and tapping on the screen and case. Anything else I can try, is it possibly an electrical issue?

Did you disconnect/reconnect any of the ribbon-style "cables" that carry the video signal to the panel? Maybe you bumped it a bit and dislodged it slightly or made it a bit crooked. Safe bet would be to open it up, and find all such connectors and disconnect/reconnect them to make sure they are seated properly. Maybe a crumb or floating hair/dust mote fell into there and blocked one of the signal lines?
