3dm06 for these cards is like 3dm05 was for the x1900's. Bring on 3dm08 with Dx10, to put some real pain on these cards, and we'll see who has 'DX10 done right'

haha everyone thats psoted here is so anti-3dmark06, but i bet you'd run 3dmark in a second if i said my ATi gpu was better than your nvidia xxxx gpu. or my nvidia xxxx gpu was better than your ATi.

P.S. i get around 6k flat (minimum, but usually a few digits over6k) with my rig in the sig. (all default settings)

oh i do, obviously u weren't around to remember my threads where my gf got me my amd 4800, 2 x 1gb of OCZ platinum ram, and x1900xt. a little bit later a 150gb raptor and razer copperhead. when all those parts were only weeks old. just recently got me another 150gb raptor, hence the free raid 0.

haven't been spending money on the pc lately, no games of my interest so all my (and her; now ex-gf) cash is directed toward my car

3dmark in general is like the holy grail for most people in XS forums. But really, Id LOVE to see 2900XT Crossfire beat 8800 ultra SLi in real world benchmarks.. but that is HARDLY the case.

I can't remember for sure, but I think 2900XT crossfire did beat 8800GTX SLi in a few games, don't quote me on this, but I think crossfire gained a lot more over single card than SLi did.

this is all through only driver updates... they haven't even released any pro,XTX (or any other nomenclature) or any 2950 information yet.
