I was touching up some paint...

using color-rite color, and duplicolor clear coat.. and it looks sort of orange-peelish.. Why? How could I fix this?
 
How large of an area are you trying to touch up? You may have to do it layer by layer if the scratch is deep.

edit:that is if it is a scratch

I ended up repainting a larger area than the scratch.
