Depends on the mood you want for the room. Your colors are more "Natural", but any color (just about) would work. Our designer did ours in a Sage color with the angled wall 2 shades darker so it would "pop". We were looking at "warm and inviting" or "fun and chatty". When the designer told me and the wife the colors she was looking at I laughed but It looks really good. Sage Walls, Hardwood floors, Medium Wood furniture, Black chair and a half, and ready for this, a purple couch!!!. The couch is a weird shape too. It's like this \___/. I have always been a Tan carpet, tan walls white ceiling and trim kind of guy. But I must admit it looks great. We get so many compliments on the room and the designer has gotten a ton of referral business from us. She is doing the Master Bedroom next week. Ohh,, Stormy Night at Sea.
