Painting question

Lifer
I'm painting two rooms with an archway between them. The main room is a light blue eggshell finish. The smaller room is a lighter green flat finish. What color should I paint the inside of archway?

white, or whatever color the celing is.

I have similar situation in my house.
you cant just butt those 2 colros against eachother. You need a seperation between the two
white/ceelign color on the udnerside of the arch and the arch "walls" going down the the floor

Thanks, that's what I said, but my girlfriend and her mom said that would look stupid. I'll let her paint it the way she wants, and when she doesn't like it I'll paint it white.
