Painting or printing on a computer case

I'm building a computer for the leader of a gaming clan I'm in, and I want to print or paint a logo onto the right panel of the case. I'm wondering what the best type of material is for this kind of thing. I'm planning to have it done at a local sign shop.

My choices are aluminum and steel, and I guess plastic is an option but most plastic cases are worthless. I think a Antec P180 (steel) might be a good option since it seems like the side panels are unpainted and would be the perfect size.

Does anyone have suggestions? Anyone ever print on a case before? Anyone handy with a airbrush and wanting to try?
