Painting my SX840

Hey,

I was thinking about painting my brand new Antec SX840, and was wondering, do I really have to sand it? Can't I just spray over the existing paint (I've got a big can 'o Kyrlon)?

You could paint over the existing paint; however, some time down the line it will start to peel. The paint needs a ruff surface to stick to and the existing paint will not allow the new paint to stick for a long time.

If your going to paint the front of the case you may want to try Vinyl Dye rather than paint.
Pics of my case etc...
Prep work is the key.
Just sand with 400-600 grit if you just want a dull color paint job that will last.
If you prep and use a lot of sand paper grits and 2 to 3 light coats and sanding in between your gonna love the look for the amout of work.
