Painting Cases ?

Hey, I would like to paint my case, whats the most cost effective and long-lasting way to do it? (a link would be great, or a step-by-step too)

ooops, sorry man...

1) Sand/Scuff existing paint(optional, but worth your time)
2) Paint with a good, heavy-duty primer(i use hard-hat Rustoleum Spray-Paint Primer)
3) Lightly sand primer(also optional)
4) Paint(Spraypaint of choice) in light layers. Add layers until the end result is nice and even. DO not overcoat on any one layer.
5). Very lightly sand painted surfaces(2000 grit sandpaper). Rinse off after sanding(with water, then dry off with lint free cloth).
6) Clear Coat, again a nice light layers, adding layers until an even finish.

The important key is to not overspray any one layer. Runs in spray paint generally result in bad results.

The drives are messed up in hte pics because I didn't know how to pull the covers off originally. They have since been redone.

My paints are as follow. Rustoleum Metallic Green, Rustoleum Crystal Clear Acrylic coat, and Rustoleum Hard-Hat Primer(all from Home-Depot). I found that the primer adds quite a bit of strength and longevity to the paint job.
