Painting Case Interior Questions!

The title says it all. Here's my current case.

The questions I have, though, aren't the normal "how-to's" (I've read some great articles, particularly the incredible dragon mod by theNEOone). I have a basic understanding of what I need to do. My questions are:

1. Any color suggestions? I'm leaning towards black. Not super high gloss, but somewhere inbetween gloss and flat. With the blue outside, I think it would offer a good contrast, plus make the cathodes stand out.
2. If I go with black (or whichever color), which brands should I use? I know of a few, but I'd like some more input on what people have used and had success with.
3. Any advice on making this job easier? I estimate 3-4 days total, so I know I have some work ahead of me.

I guess that's about it. If I think of more, I'll be sure to add it.

Thanks in advance!

When I painted the inside of my case, I went to home depot and got this high quality black paint with silver sparkles in it. It turned out really awesome. Just look on the can for something that says "sparkling black" or something like that. And it only took me about 2 days, and I painted my drive faces too. Sand, paint, let dry, sand, paint... Pretty much all I did

After looking at your case, I think you should try to paint it the same color blue as the outside. I think that would look the best. I was picture the black inside on that computer, and I don't think it would look that good. But your computer, your decision. Hope I helped out a little

Hey Bro,
I painted my Lian Li interior a Gun Metal Grey that has a hammered texture to it. Very cool. The light bounces off it in different directions and gives off an neat glow. The case is brushed aluminum, so the gray sets the interior off very well. I painted it in one hour, and hung it on my Garage Door to dry. Next day I touched up a few spots and it was done. I left it out in the Garage as it's well ventilated, over night. Be careful putting it back together as the fumes are ignitable! Let it air out completely before you plug it in.
I painted in side of all the bays, so I wouldn't get the bare metal poking through at odd angles through the window. Looking at your case, I'd say that a Slightly lighter color on the inside of the side panels, and slightly Darker on the interior chassis, Then the outside has. lol🙂

What about a dark red? Say like a maroon-type color for the inside? Something like THIS (scroll down a bit). Maybe with some metallic in it as well?

You think blue and a maroon / dark maroon would look good?

The lighter the interior the easier it is to 'see' inside when working. I painted the inside of my dash high gloss silver and wiring was so easy with a flashlight under the dash.

Also painting insulates a little and some companies had static problems with plastic mounted harddrives....YMMV but may want to ground everything well.
