Painting a car with Rhino Liner?(truck bed liner)

appearance aside...would it be an effective preventative against rust?
also, could you paint the undercarriage/etc. with it as well?

I believe that the rhino liner has some thickness to it, probably about a quarter of an inch or so. If this is the case, you'd have a hell of a time getting your doors and such to open and close properly, and all just to prevent rust. On top of that, man would that look UGG-LEEE.

I'd see if there is a website for the stuff and see what kind of practical applications it has, and see if any of those relate to what you want to do.

Yes it's a good rust preventative, and a good sound dampener too, if you don't mind stripping your car's interior.

Personally, I've seen both and I like Line-X better. It's tackier and has better wet grip. It's been on my truck for 5 years and it's still kicking.

I think the look of it would be the least of your problems, that stuff is heavy, doing a whole car would be difficult and expensive and you would need extra load tires and heavy duty springs and shocks.

But you would have the ultimate beater, never again will you have to worry about door dings, wail on it with a baseball bat, throw bricks at it, do whatever you want you wont scratch that sht.

thnx for the advice.
i just might give it a shot🙂 i know it will look horrendous,
but hey ive also strapped deer skulls/horns to the hood of my vehicle.
🙂 of course the vehicle in question is a POS.

btw:i highly reccomend the deer skull, its a real attention getter..especially when crudely strapped down with bungie cords :Q
