Ok since I can't find a slot load dvd drive that is black im am just going to paint one. I'm going to get the Pioneer 106S. I want to paint the bezel black. What are the steps to doing this? I've never really painted computer parts before and I have no idea what to use. Do I use primer and then black spray paint? Please tell me what to do if you have expertice in this area.

A while ago, I think someone posted a mod that used the 5.25" plates from an empty slot and attached them to the CD tray with silicone glue. This allowed one to paint the plate (much easier) and gave a nice clean look. But, I can't seem to find it now. Anyone know the link?

Thanks... :)

NM... I found it.

That stealth drive mod is nifty! I've never seen that approach taken before...
