i just got my new projector today (infocus sp4805) and was wondering: until i can get the money for an actual screen, what whould be the best thing to use as a temp one, a white sheet, or paint. if paint, what kind/shade should i use? either way, my bare wall cannot be used for much longer. thanks

I recommend black-out cloth from Jo-ann's fabric and a simple wooden frame. See the DIY thread at avsforum for more information. link

That's what I'm using for my NEC HT1000 and it works great. Total cost of materials was around $70. Construction took two nights, a couple hours each night. I put together the frame the first night and let the glue set overnight. Stapled the cloth to the frame the second night.

Blackout cloth works great.

If not that, then order samples from dalite and stewart filmscreen and then take it to home depot to colormatch.
