Paint my white LCD monitor to match my new DELL PC?

I'd think it would be easy to do but why? What hapeens when you bump it and it chips/flakes off? If you get tired of it and try to sell it on the FS/T forum? I am building my wife a beige PC and I bought a black LCD monitor because it was the only color in stock. Wasn't any big deal to her or myself.

You should sandblast the monitor first, then apply a primer.

Most LCDs are scratchproof so you don't have to worry that much about masking.

lmfao

Really though if you want a black lcd, buy one.

NO NO NO!

Don't paint it.

Use Vinyl Dye - it adheres to paint and chemically changes the color. It can be purchased at AutoZone or PepBoys or some place like that.

It comes in all colors. It doesn't make the monitor any thicker, and it doesn't adhere to non-plastics.

Yup vinyl die is the way to go, it comes in a can just like spray paint and goes on just like spray paint, but its the RIGHT stuff to use for plastics.
