Painted my house this weekend, at least the main body color. Went with a fairly dark green, thinking either white or cream trim with a red front door. The trim color is the stumbling block. The windows are white vinyl so white seems like the way to go. Is there another color I should be thinking about?
Mrs.Greenman has as much trouble picking color as I do, that's why I'm here.

I'm useless when it comes to decorating and color. That is my wifes job. She picks, I make it happen to her specifications.

How is the arm doing after the painting?

Not an issue, left arm is the one that's giving me problems, right arm is the one that holds the sprayer. That, and Ibuprofen is my drug of choice.

In my experience, trim color is often a couple shades darker, and in the same family as the field color. This is not even close to absolute, but i've done hundreds if not thousands of exteriors over the decades. Not sure that thin white mullions should influence your decision completely.

It never occurred to me to go darker on the trim. I'll have to grab some samples.
Thanks.

You're welcome.
Side note that Ibuprofen can mess you up. Be sure to take it with food and alot of water. Large and long durations of NSAIDS without enough water nearly took me out a couple years ago. I'm still recovering from that mistake today.
