A bill is gathering support in the Virginia legislature that would require unborn children be administered a painkiller before abortions are performed.

The legislation would require doctors to give fetuses pain medication during second- and third-trimester abortions

Assuming that we all understand that "fetus" feel pain who do you all feel about this?

Here is my thoughts...........

Since its a "womens right to choose" why not let they women decide about the painkiller? If she wants her child to "feel the whole experience" then who are we to tell her what to do no?

I think somehow the "womans" rights must be protected. Everyone should have the right to inflict as much pain as possible while murdering their baby.

I think that killing anyone is wrong. However I would have to agree that killing an abortion doctor could save lives.
So while I myself am against killing abortion doctors, I believe people should have the freedom of choice in that matter.

yes but Women want their right to kill their baby cause they choose to do so. I still want to kick a Democrat in the nads everytime they say Partial birth abortions are just fine.

But doesn't the joke accomplish what you want? To brutalize the actions of abortionists?

I think that it's awful that fetuses in their 2nd and 3rd trimester can sense pain. Why would abortions still be allowable? :(

Just as killing those who advocate or excuse killing of abortion doctors would save lives? Wait, this is recursive ;)

every human has a right to life. If we, as a socity, don't have the democratic support to bring to law the right to life of a human then at very least we should treat all condemed humans equaly. We should have as much respect for the un-born human as we have for a murderer, we should put them under sudation prior to the termination of life.

My brother and I were born 13 1/2 weeks early; trust me, we could sense pain.

the same thing we as humans have done for a very long time, defining humans as 'non persons' so as to benefit the utility of those who we define as having 'person-hood'.

No not at all, its meant to bring out into the open all the aspects of what abortion is, and does to the child.

Its always worth reminding people the human cost of abortion.

I think pro-choice people would not be so fast to support abortion as they realize what the hell they are actually supporting. Pain, death, etc.

God said I knew you when you were in your mothers womb,
One could say but the world would be a better place if 40% of the people on this forum were aborted, I am still prolife even for them and all life

But if they had been aborted who would the Liberals have to argue with?

indeed, considering most every woman has had early miscarraiges they don't even notice(just looks like a heavy flow), something like 40% of conceptions result in such failure, there must be more then a billion dead babies by Gods hand, the greatest abortionist ever! Murderer!! Baby Killer!! he must die!! i'll pay for the sniper bullet! i'll paypal, he must die!

right, and if we catagorize sperm as half humans, people will have to stop masturbating and using contraception eh? my dogs more of a person then a 4 cell cluster.
i really hope your a vegan, being that anything living that you eat is vastly more complex and developed then most any aborted fetus.
