I was just wondering if this game is playable on dial up? I don't want to buy it and find out it's unplayable. Also it would take me forever to download the demo for the obvious reasons.

The multiplayer wasn't that great IMO.

Some hardcore DM players did take it up since one of the gaming league's adopted it for some tourneys i think.

yeah it was fatal1ty's #1 game for a whole season IIRC
