Pain in a dream

I just woke up from a nap...in the dream I kept getting hit in the elbow, and it got real sore. When I woke up my elbow was real sore in the real world! Now, I realize that I may have slammed my elbow into something while I was asleep, but the pain was gone in a few minutes. That makes me think it was my body 'sympathizing' with my plight in the dream. Sounds like the Matrix, huh?

I've had emotional pain from dreams 🙁

But I can't remember actually feeling physical pain from occurences in dreams, no

I recently had a dream that I was standing in my open garage, looking out at an albino coyote. Two gray coyotes started harassing it in what I thought was a playful manner, but one of them turned in my direction menacingly, so I quickly went inside and shut the door.

I went to the front of the house to make sure the door was shut, and as I was closing it, I was confronted by a hideous beast that was a genetic mutation between a coyote and human that had escaped from the local genetics facility - though to be honest it looked most like a wingless bat. I panicked and tried shutting the door, but it fumbled at the doorknob, lashing out at me with its clawlike skeletal hands as I managed to finally shut and bolt the door.

I ran through the house screaming, "Lock the doors! They know how to open doors!" as I ran upstairs to retrieve my 9mm.

When I got into the shower that morning, I had a foot-long scratch on my right arm..
