While you guys are at it, does anyone know why the hell my sister's 2GB 2nd Gen Nano reboots within 10 seconds of starting a song? Everything I found on the web didn't work.

It's only 2 weeks old, but I threw the receipt away and I am ready to just throw it in the garbage, or sell it for a loss. :(

Have you called Apple?? They have awesome customer service. I dropped my iPod about 6 months after I got it and the white was coming apart from the chrome backing. Called them and explained the situation and they sent me a box overnight that I could ship it back in. Couple days later a new iPod arrived in the mail.

Take it to walmart without a receipt. tell them you bought it there and want a new one since thats faulty. they will replace it and also get credit for the broken one. If you dont want to ill buy it for 30 bucks and do it myself

There is a user here called IPOD repair guy? Why did you not PM him?

My point was that you did not say what was wrong with the battery.

How about using the warranty?

Laziness really. I would really like to solve it myself if at all possible. She is bringing it over to my house this weekend, when I can get a shot at fixing it myself. If anything I bought it with my debit card, so I have some sort of proof of purchase.
