It only started bothering me this morning, but the corner of my right eye- that little pocket where tears come out- feels sore to the touch and sometimes when blinking, specifially if I squint. My other eye has no such symptom. Other than that my vision is fine I feel fine, no discoloration. The eye did tear a bit though while walking outside. It's not too cold today maybe in 40s.

Were you rubbing it before? You might have scratched it or something when you were sleeping... I've had this happen before, and it'll go away.

Just check as extensively as you can to make sure no foreign objects are present. Chances are you just scratched/irritated it a little, but if it gets worse it might become infected. Probably nothing to worry about though,

clogged tear duct. IMHNMO (In my humble none medical opinion) best case it will clear up in a day or two worst case it needs to be corrected with surgery. if it begins to bother you or you experiance vision issues consult a doctor ASAP.
