Pageants...any ideas?

Im trying to find things on the internet showing when different pageants started (pre 1950). Problem is, the only pageant info that shows up is friggin Miss America. any ideas?

There are a lot of state/local pagents out there... Mrs. America, Miss USA, Miss TEEN USA, Mr. America.
