Page not found

Recently I have started to notice a lot of "Page not found" errors, in general when backing out from a page. I was away for a couple of weeks and noticed this problem when I came back. The URL displayed when I get the error is

http://forums.anandtech.com/null

I am using Netscape 4.79.

Is anybody else experiencing the same?
 
No, is not the ISP to blame. It has to be the combination of code in the page and Netscape Communicator. I have seen the problem through comcast cable with one machine and with ATT and my employer network with my laptop.
