How big should my page file be. I'm getting errors when Norton runs a scan saying the my page file is too small. I have 640 MB of RAM. I would also like to place access to this pagefile on another internal hardrive rather than my C: drive which is filling up. My C: drive is about 40GB, and my other drive is about 80 GB with 3 partitions 20, 30, 30

usually RAM*2 or 2.5 is a good idea. Maybe 1300MB for you

Would that be maximum or minimum, value?
Can I allocate the space on my secondary drive, or does it have to be on the primary drive?

Yes you can put it on the secondary drive, that is where mine is

As for size, 1300 can be both the max and min
