page can not be displayed in some user accounts withing XP

I am having a problem all of a sudden where when I sign on to the internet and get logged on Internet explorer gives me the error page can not be displayed, yet if I log on under a different user I can bows the internet fine, it is only the one account within XP that I have the problem.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

It is a dial up account the service provider is Bell South. I can connect to Bell South but Internet Explorer only brings up page can not be displayed. If I log on under my kids XP account it all works fine. My XP account is the admin and the kids xp account is a basic user account.
