Padded case for mobile tray?

We're using an Athena mobile rack and trays. It occurs to me that the drives would be more shock-resistant in transit if the tray was stored in some sort of padded case instead of being carried around loose. While there are plenty of solutions we can jury-rig (e.g., by using a camera bag and foam padding), I wondered if anyone knew of a particularly good solution?
