Pacman Jones involved in yet ANOTHER altercation

WSB-TV in Atlanta reports that Titans cornerback Pacman Jones allegedly punched a woman on January 3 in a North Atlanta strip club.

And the woman whom he punched is a lawyer.

The incident allegedly happened on January 3. The lawyer, Wanda Jackson, alleges that Jones entered a manager's office, accusing the club among other things of stealing money from him. She says that, during the meeting, Jones lunged at her several times. She also alleges that, in a hallway after the meeting, he reached around a security guard and punched her.

Though the report isn't clear on this point, it appears that a warrant has been issued for Jones' arrest, and that he's due in Court on February 8. The incident could result in a claim that he has violated his probation in Nevada stemming from the infamous Las Vegas strip club "Make It Rain"/"Make It Hail . . . Bullets" incident from February 2007.

Most importantly, it likely puts Jones back in the cross-hairs of Commissioner Roger Goodell. Though Jones has been cleared to re-join the Titans for offseason activities beginning in March, the league could look to swiftly impose further discipline on Jones as a result of these new allegations.

As we've said all along, if Jones can't stay out of trouble when he has a job, he surely won't be able to stay out of trouble when he doesn't have a job.

Maybe when the former WVU star gets suspended the next time he'll make good on his promise to return to school to get his degree . . . in Michigan.

I thought he was supposed to stay out of strip clubs? Or was he just going there for the food?

he never had a pro wrestling career to begin with. the titans wouldn't let him get involved physically so he was basically a manager and then they didn't renew any contract.

He needs to go to jail. Stealing his money? Somebody force him to stick money in that strippers brassiere? Punching a woman. What a real man.

Agreed, in my book that's one line you just don't cross.

Edited at request of moderator. Apparently obvious sarcastic humor is subject to individual perception/taste, a great day for AT.

At the rate he's going, he won't have to worry about the Titans or NFL limiting his wrestling.

Who in the world other than pacman would have the luck of striking a female defense attorney in a strip club at 3am?

Well he can always join the Arena league. I don't think Canada will let him in the country so he can't play in the CFL

Dude's a class A retard, throwing away what likely could have been an amazing career.

I heard the Titans were looking to trade him. I was reading on a Chiefs message board and someone asked if anyone thought the chiefs would try to go after him if this were indeed true. First response was "good god I hope not" and the 2nd response was "is there a lot of strip clubs in Kansas City?" haha

What a waste. He could be something special in the NFL, but the idiot just can't get out his own way.

This is the part that confuses me:

Most importantly, it likely puts Jones back in the cross-hairs of Commissioner Roger Goodell. Though Jones has been cleared to re-join the Titans for offseason activities beginning in March, the league could look to swiftly impose further discipline on Jones as a result of these new allegations.

So...it's not the fact that he punched a woman in the face, allegedly, or that he could face criminal charges that's most important? it's that he might have to face Goodell again and possibly extend his suspension?

I like Pacman as a player, but if he really did this, Goodell needs to suspend his stupid ass for another season with no possibility of coming back early.

I mean, how fucking complicated is this? Here's the list of things Pacman needs to avoid if he ever wants to play in the NFL again:
- Don't go to strip clubs
- Don't shoot people
- Don't hit people

That's it. That's it. Is that shit rocket science now?

Jackson, an attorney, says in her filing that she was in the club's office when an angry Jones accused managers of stealing his money and bracelet.

"I was sitting in the office and he lunged at me numerous times in an effort to do grave bodily harm," Jackson wrote in the warrant application filed Jan. 7. "Veronica Jones, an owner, went into the hall to deal with a member of his entourage. I followed to gawk. He was in the hall, surprisingly reached over or around a security guard and sucker punched me in my left eye."

Jackson told police the next day she was at the club because she was handling a divorce case that involved Adam Jones. No one could be reached Tuesday afternoon at the club's listed phone number.

"Mr. Jones, according to Ms. Jackson, was at the Body Tap Club and she and Mr. Jones got into an argument at the club and Mr. Jones struck Ms. Jackson in the left eye, causing a bruise around her left eye," according to the police report.
