i honestly dont even know how to answer that question

Do you, TheoPetro, own a personal computer that contains more than one (1) network inferface card?

The clarify, is this a laptop that may have both a wired network card and a wireless card?

It's most likely a desktop at 400Mbps, 'cause I don't think many laptops have Gigabit ethernet.. maybe I'm behind on the times though.. lol

Yes you are, my year old laptop has gigabit ethernet. I think it's pretty standard on everything now.

Go to Control Panel and open Network Connections. Is there more then one icon in that window?

It is probably from your firewire port. It is somehow registering as a connection, bridged possibly?

Sounds reasonable, don't see what other kinds of connections would get 400 Mbit.
