packet record/playback on network

Does anyone know of an application that will record multicast traffic, have the ability to save the traffic to a file, and playback the file to a given IP/port?

Not aware, but just out of curiosity, if you don't mind, what is the intent? Debugging? Maybe there's something easier that will yield the same outcome.

Well, the intent is to record a packet stream, and send it to someone else so they can test their app w/o having to run the application that generates all the packets.

Thanks for the response though... I'm guessing by the number of responses there isn't much out there?

I know I'll be hated, but maybe I'll ask in OT... more traffic there.
